LOVES:
Water Tracker, Sleep tracker, Meal Boxes, To-do List, Work out Box, Reflection, Habit Tracker (It allowed me to check off every time I had coffee versus tea—to me that was so fun and helpful), Grocery List, as well as the encouraging cute notes per week!
NOT-so loves:
I’m not much of a goal setter person—I’m more of a “just do” or bullet point/check off list kinda gal, so I wish the checklist was longer. Also, it actually kind of got a bit cumbersome that I had to keep flipping or finding the “time-planning of the week” page especially if I was using the grocery list—- when I had my list of to-dos and my daily stats on the other pages. I feel like there was too much flip here, than flip there. I found I just all together stopped using the time-slot page, using mostly the calendar and the daily pages the most.
Maybe a pull-out sheet that you can detach that has the grocery list / to-do list or a flip out page so it could coordinate with THAT day you’re looking at? :)
I forgot this in my last post, but I LOVVVEEE the grocery list!! I usually order my groceries online and it’s super easy to have the grocery list in my agenda!
I love the color theme and the check list at the back of the each month to keep me on top of things I want to accomplish for that month. The agenda is on the heavier side which is a negative to me. I feel like I don’t use the time slot for the week, I like to put everything that I have to do for the day in one area and not have to flip back and forth on different pages to see what I have to do. Also, I love the pocket In the back.. one more in the front wouldn’t hurt ? I use agendas all the time and I feel like I’m always buying new ones cause they are adding new stuff that I can use, but I like how this agenda ties in my habits, my daily tasks, my sleep, water, and my workout.
I wish the habit tracker was at the front and it had a book or show list
This is my first planner and overall I really love it and have found it helping me stay on track with my goals.
Love:
Year goal setting – good opportunity to think about what you want out of your year
Habit Tracker – bullet journal inspired and concise way to keep all in one spot
Monthly goals / aspirations – motivation + goals change and it is good to re-evaluate each month and have a spot to note that
To-Do Lists – great daily spot to track important items and check off
Layout overall – the monthly tabs, different colours, and overall layout are so functional and also cute!
Change:
More space for workouts – multiple places to track to-dos / events (monthly calendar, week snapshot, and daily lists) but places for workouts are so small.
More space for food tracking – similar to the work-out notes above – cut down some repeated info and more room for food tracking (meals, points, calories, etc.)
Measurements / Tracking spot – a dedicated place to track measurements, weight, photos, progress
Thanks for being open to suggestions and already looking forward to my next planner!
I loved the colors and overall look of the planner. I ended up giving it away to a friend because it was too small to write in. Please enlarge everything so it’s easier to write in. Thanks!
- Metal is dreadful. I have to leave it at home. It’s too big to carry
- Work out space needs to triple in size
- perforated shopping list
- no hours on calander. Maybe morn , afternoon , pm

This was my first time buying a planner since high school and i loved most of the design! Like a lot of people said it is BIG and the spiral design makes it feel more cheap. I also think having a planner that can lay flat would be great! Also I really could have done without the hourly section, i never use it, maybe make it optional or nothing printed on the other side so people who dont want it can tear it out so that way the planner can be thinner. MUST Haves was the To-Do list checkbox! The Habit Tracker! and maybe just a little more space for the workouts. Also enjoyed being able to write my meals in with the day, but that can be smaller if need be. And then the monthly was nice with the little “goal” box its now my ritual to say goal everyday that month.
I absolutely Adore it!! This is by far the best planner I’ve ever used! One thing I would like a little different is the space for writing the workouts. I follow the blogilates monthly calendar as well as a little extra on some days so it’s a little hard to fit it in. But I get it all in there and I go about my workout with a positive mind. Being able to track everything in one spot is just Amazing!!

This is my first time buying a planner from blogilates, and I love it! As I mentioned in my review, it is everything I’ve been looking for in a planner. This year’s planner helped me completely eliminate the need to use a digital calendar. Having both the hourly view and the daily to do list is a MUST for me. I block out my time/classes on the weekly spread, and I use the to do list to write down what needs to be done that day. I use the monthly spread to list due dates. As a student and someone who works full time, the weekly spread is really helpful for blocking appointments, classes, and shifts. Having it listed in a to-do list makes it so easy for an appointment to get lost and forgotten. As long as that feature is still available, I plan on purchasing next year’s planner.
So far, I haven’t really been using the meal planning sections (although I do intend to use it more). As far as changes go, I would like to have the weeks start on Monday instead of Sunday. I also agree with the habit trackers being in a weird spot. Maybe the trackers can be placed after the monthly view, or maybe the trackers can be grouped together and have its own section towards the front after the first few pages. With the amount of stuff going on in the planner, it probably wouldn’t hurt to have it be a little bigger. Other than that, I love the layouts, colors, and designs used.
I had the holographic 17 journal. I loved the contents but I really disliked the huge spiral design… it kept me from carrying it with me and so I didn’t use it as much as I wish I did. I think a ribbon bookmark and a better binding would be awesome.
First time committing to a journal like this one. I love the color, how organized it was, a lot of range to keep track of fitness, moods, foods and self motivation.
I’m a very simple person when it comes to tracking so I loved the habit tracker, and the monthly calendar. I personally could do with less of the weekly trackers (hourly and food ones) but I understand you are appealing to everyone.
Only negative thing was the weight of the journal and the thickness of the journal. Hard to store in my purse or have it to go with me.
I love almost everything about the planner except for the spiral design. It’d be nice if there’s also a ribbon bookmarker to keep your pages in check!
I’ve purchased your 2015 & 2016 fit planners previously, but just looking at this book… I knew I couldn’t buy it.
I’m left handed and huge spirals like that are not only annoying, but stop me from being able to write.
Anyway to make it a book that can lay flat when opened?
I love the new layouts that you came up with on this book though. :)
Definitely loved almost everything about this planner. The page designs, the cover, the mulptilae places to put stuff!!! However, I hate the spiral design. Putting the planner in and out of my book bag was a drag because the spiral got stuck on almost everything and ultimately got bent and pushed around and the cover was scratched by the pointy end of the spiral. I want to buy the 2019 planner for sure but I’m hoping the spiral is taken off. Thank you for asking! Popflex is THE BEST!!!!!!!
I loved everything about this planner from the beautiful colours (rose gold is my absolute favourite) to the set up of the interior. On the entire month view page, I loved the spaced for Monthly Mantra, Events, Monthly Goals and self care, and on the week view, I loved the spaces for the week’s goals, and self-compliments. The pages where you can track food and water intake are amazing and the ones I use the most, also the daily to-do lists are KEY. I could not go without them, or the habit trackers :) I look forward to my monthly re-cap every month as well. This has been the most incredible planner I have ever used, and I would not change a thing. Thank you for everything that you do, and helping me better myself with your planner!!!
I wish for a smaller version to also be available. More than a pocket planner but easy to carry in a bag or purse.
This was my first year to get the planner and I literally love EVERYTHING about it. The weekly/daily/monthly sections, how small it is, the place to check off dailies in the back of the month, place to write out meal plan and water and workout…literally everything!! The only thing I would change is the cover…it might not be feasible, but would custom covers be possible?
Awesome planner but the thin pages seemed really delicate against the giant spiral (the pages felt like they could easily rip out). Also within a month of purchasing it the rose gold 2018 on the cover faded out and I’m very delicate with it so I was disappointed that it happened..and so quickly. Besides that the trackers and month at a glance page is awesome. Although I feel like I find myself flipping back and forth within the planner (maybe strings for bookmarking would make it easier to flip through). Everything else (color scheme/ quotes/ decorations) is beautiful. Love it overall!
I love it but I prefer the structure of the 17&18 focus journal.
I would love more note parents though and a bigger space to describe the workout. Maybe half workout, half to do list.
Someone said it earlier, it’s really heavy and the spiral could me smaller maybe.
Personally, I don’t have a problem with the size or the coil binding. I always flip one side to the back when I’m writing in it, and most other bindings would prevent that. I also leave a couple pens stuck in it, so I’d like to keep that binding. The size, also, is great; I wouldn’t want to sacrifice any of the features just to make it smaller. Some people have suggest two options which sounds like a better plan to me. I really like the habit trackers that were added this year, and the pocket at the back is an absolute MUST for me. I print out a very simple, small calendar of the entire year to stick in there, and I cross out days I get to work out so I can see how consistent I’ve been over the year.
Last year it had the little space at the bottom of each day to describe your day with one word, and I thought it was silly at the beginning, but it turned out to be kind of fun, and helped me remember when I did certain things looking back. I’d like that space to come back. I liked the horizontal boxes for food from last year better, but that isn’t really a big deal.
One thing that could be cool to add might be a progress tracker for certain exercises. I’m not sure exactly how you’d do it, but for example, I used to keep track of my PR on pushups. I had a big horizontal bar, divided it and wrote numbers in each box, then when I hit that number of push ups, I’d get to color in the box and write the date below. If you left everything blank – just a long bar divided into smaller boxes – people could write in their own exercises and milestones (miles run, weight lifted for certain moves, number of sequential push ups, etc.). I personally think it would be a cool motivator to see how I progress over the year!
Regardless, don’t change it too much! I love the general set-up, and I’m really worried about what’s gonna happen with the binding after reading some of these comments!
I did not buy this planner because of the price.
I like the design and colors. But i dont use the hourly part of planner. And habit tracker seems like a lot of habits for a month. I think the doodle area can be used for something else like something to help keep u on track w food n workouts or in life. I do like grocery list, water reminder, meals and workout, to do list (can maybe remove 2 or 3) i don’t go crazy w to do list as not enough time. I also like the part about reminder for week but it might b better in the weeks portion as i flip to day of and miss it. This is my first year using it so ive only used it 2 months. So this is about all i got on comment. I think you do a great job to help us all out. I was excited when i first got it and i still like writing things down. How about adding a weigh in like on a weekend? I know weight isnt the most important but we are trying to stay fit. Maybe if dueing that week we gained then we can go back n see what we messed up on or can improve. So far im just writing on calendar part.
I love the planner, but HATE the “Millennial Pink” cover. It reminds me of baby vomit. Please bring back the beautiful, colorful designs. I also miss the word of the day.
Thanks!
Loved everything about the planner! The only thing, could you make it without huge metal spirals? It is difficult to write and carry it around like that :(
I had the 2017 planner and I did not get this planner because it was big, and I would prefer to have an 8 1/2 by 11 size, if that reduces the bulk. or if it came with a way to take out pages. But the design and the multitasking functions are great.
I love this new planner, but the one thing that I missed from the 2017 planner is the word for the day. I miss having a space to write how i felt about that day so I’m having to add it in myself.
I didn’t buy it this year because of the metal spirals…. I love the planner but it is just too big to put in my handbag ?
This is my first year using the Fit Planner, and I love it! I love how much I can micromanage myself, with the monthly pages, week & hour pages, and day by day pages. I also really like having the month goal trackers. There are of course a few things that can be improved upon.
I wish the water bottles were bigger on each days’ water bottle so that it is easier to mark how much water you have had.
I don’t like that there isn’t room for me to reflect on each workout. I like to take the time to write down details of my workout (how I felt during and after, what I did, if I was sore, if I foam rolled after, etc.) I like that I am able to write down the workout of the day, but I wish I had more space to expound upon it.
This is a tiny critique, but on the “Today I need to…” section I think the little boxes are unnecessary. When I finish a task I cross the whole thing out. I don’t just mark the small boxes.
This is a great planner! My favorite I’ve ever owned.
I love the daily task section, with the spot for your meals, tasks, sleep and water. The hourly section is nice, but I personally don’t need it much.i
I wish the grocery list portion was perforated so I could rip it out and take it with me! It’s not very useful otherwise.
I bought the 2017 planner, but not the 2018. Functionally the pages were laid out nicely and don’t think you could change anything and still make everything fit. However, the #1 reason I didn’t get the 2018 was the extremely large coil that made it unmanageable to carry in a purse. If the coil was smaller (so might have to adjust the sizing) AND covered (or hidden) to be durable for travel and actually using on a day to day basis.
LOVE my planner! The only things I’d like to see are a smaller design so I can fit it in my purse and a ribbon bookmark to keep my place.
I love this planner! I really like having the boxes at the bottom of each hour-by-hour page. I love being able to look back on my positive compliments of myself and smile or regain confidence for the week. In general I feel like there are too many pages per month. I’m not sure how to shorten each month up, but I don’t use both the day-to-day and the hour-by-hour pages. I don’t have a preference as to which is better, but I think it should be one or the other and not both. And I would agree with those that say a bookmark would be nice to keep track of which page you’re on in the calendar. Otherwise, I love the bright colors and inspirational quotes throughout! I smile every time I open it!
Oops! Forgot to clarify that with the 2 sizes, people wouldn’t be buying a bundle with both sizes in it. They could choose which size they preferred and go with that one. ;)
I didn’t get the planner for this year because I hated the color scheme. It’s so bland! But I get it that most people loved it. In fact, when I went out shopping for a planner, it was difficult to find one that wasn’t filled with pukey pinks. That certainly was the projected trend for this year. Not a problem, but I REALLY hope the next planner has more pizzazz and less ballerina girly-ness. I love ballerinas and I’m girly but not every day for an entire year. Give us more spunk and pop in the color scheme!
Also, that metal spiral…I don’t mind spirals but the spiral on the current planner is really big. Those things always get in the way of my hand when I’m writing on the left page. Small spirals, big spirals – they all do it. I hate it but I love when a planner opens flat. In fact, it’ll be a deal-breaker for me if it doesn’t lie flat and can have one side swung around to the back to make it easier to hold.
One thing that might be nice is to have 2 different sizes. Like a taller size (the current size) and then a smaller, more portable size. The smaller size would inevitably have fewer features in it, but portability is really convenient.
Pros: Just about everything. Pretty. Shiny. Full-featured. You can organize your life right down to the minute which is good… if you roll like that.
Cons: Just one. The giant, metal spiral ring. It’s too much. The top and bottom ends are sharp and pointy and eat away at the holes that pass through the cover. I understand the choice of the spiral ring. It allows the planner to open flat. I get it. Those pointy ends can be bent upward, but that just creates more opportunities for it to snag on something other than the cover. Go plastic? Certainly not. Popflex doesn’t do low-end product. I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with the spiral ring. Sure, it’s venerable. It’s been around since 1934. It’s largely technology-proof. That makes it a survivor, dare I say, an anachronism in a modern world. I love retro just as much as anyone. How to cure the metal spiral ring? If we can put a man on the moon………..
Can it be blue?
I love my planner! I use all the sections: monthly spread for big events, weekly spread for appointments and meetings, and daily spreads for tasks. I only wish the daily spreads were broken up differently, like M-F on 2 pages and Sat/Sun+doodle space on another 2 pages. I find myself having to copy over tasks from Tues to Wed all the time. Otherwise I love the colors, design, and functionality. My fav planner ever ?
PLEASE make is a bit smaller and easier to carry around in a purse!
This is the second Popflex planner I have bought and I really love it! It has everything I need in it. I haven’t really used the habit tracker because the things I am tracking are being tracked elsewhere but it is handy to have, maybe it would work better for people if it was right behind the month page… I don’t use the week at a glance too often but it does come in handy when I don’t feel well or something and I want to know when and what I ate to try to find any connections, it was something I was definitely looking for in a planner for this year and I was excited to see that you had put that in. Most planners either have week at a glance design or the longer day design rarely can you find both. Thanks for your hard work!
Thank you for creating such a fabulous product! I hadn’t purchased anything from Popflex before and really have fallen in love with this planner. Love the color, love the size and thickness, love the binding, the page layouts and segments given for different content (I agree it would be nice to see Weekly layouts maybe in lieu of the hourly/dailies), also love the habit trackers. One major point of feedback on the cover: It looks amazing and my only challenge has been it’s not as sturdy as I’d like. I travel a lot, so take it with me on trips, and it has definitely bends and creases and gets “ding’d” easily and often. Would be nice to see something that stands up to an active lifestyle! One minor point of feedback: The graphics were interesting, but as a mom who is fitting fitness into a big list of other priorities the “fitness” centered vignettes seemed narrow to me—-as in, could they be more “wellness” “overall health and wellbeing” vs. specific gym/workout types of visuals? I am happy to discuss further or offer myself as a test-case for the next version :)
Will there be an additional 2018 planner sale? I am desperately in need of one, and I would like one before we dive too deep into the year! T.T
Sorry for posting a third comment! I forgot to add that I NEVER use the grocery checklist on the right side.
Also, instead of the Spending Log or journal section layout I suggested previously, I’d prefer more blank spaces like the Doodle Space so I could fill it out myself. Not only can everyone put what they want in there (Be it reminders or a bucket list or shows they want to watch or books they want to read), there wouldn’t be lines taking up space so we can fill the space how we’d want to.
I also still love the idea od making the journal taller and longer, rather than having a compact and bulky journal. It would fit better in my bag if it didn’t take up so much space horizontally, and would make it a lot easier to write in it when my hand isn’t hanging off thr page!
I also forgot to add that I’m against the page ribbon idea. I have Post-It Tabs on my planner that work well for me! The tabs include: This Week, Today, Gratitude Log, Spending, Daily Habits.
1.) I love the habit tracker and fill up all the spaces. I agree with others that it should not be in the back!
2.) I also use the “Today I Need to” lists a lot more often than the time schedule set up. I don’t like having a lot of blank space when I don’t have many plans, so I always feel pressured to fill it up with recaps of the day.
3.) I would LOVE a Spending Log or a little journal section to document key points or events that happened. I had to use my bullet journal for those, and ended up skipping days at a time because it was too tedious!
4.) The sleep and water tracker are great but I do forget to use them a lot.
5.) I would love more blank spaces for brain dumps or lists. For example, I used some of my “doodle space” to make lists of Shows I want to Watch, Books I Need to Read, spending log to document my everyday spending so I can be held accountable, gratitude log, etc!
6.) a Gratitude Log!!!!
7.) Another person suggested having ticks for family time and stretching but I think you should stay away from specifics. I enjoy being able to personalize my planner to what is important to me!
8.) I love all the content you packed in this gorgeous planner, but would prefer it to be taller and longer with more spatious spreads, than to have a compact, bulky planner!
Overall, I love the planner! It is absolutely gorgeous and it’s almost my All-in-One Planner! It’s just missing a few things and I really do hope you decide to implement some in the 2019 planner!!!
Love the beautiful cover and the way it is hooped so you can flip it and write. Rose/gold is beautiful.A page ribbon would be handy as I have written in the wrong month by mistake (in a Rush)
don’t use the hour by hour as it would look stressful…the what I need to do today is what I use.
Groceries no because I need them where I can see them on my whiteboard.
I personally like to keep an eye on daily Carbs/fats & especially proteins as I do not get enough but it may not be for everyone.I don’t use the water thing as my bottle measures it but its good because water is so essential.
Todays workout is used always.
Monthly calendar is good to see the month ahead.
A page for a month of BRAIN DUMPING would be good to decide the important tasks to do in the month. Didn’t like the inside colours but I am a Pink person always.
Maybe a change of colour per season with a theme like in your book Cassy?
Too many habits on the habit tracker page…. one new monthly habit is enough for me lol
Maybe groceries could be replaced with a CHEAP CLEAN EAT like a SWEET treat that we crave?
Doodle space is good to record stuff that happens in the month so love it.
A daily GRATITUDE box would be uplifting.
Maybe a BEFORE pic space then one every season to see progress visually?
I don’t record hours slept as I use my iPhone to alarm me to sleep and wake and it records it but doesn’t vary much. I
personally would like a weekly check-in-with-your-bank box to tick :) a family box (to make sure I stay in touch) a progress towards my goals recap each season or month to incentify
a STRETCHING goal box?
…. just throwing some ideas not criticising at all. These things I would use but it needs to be general I know to please everyone.
Love my new pilates mat in the new design…its my treasure and it won’t go all cut to bits with toenails lol
Love Karen
1.- I would definitely keep the distribution for each month/day with all the special features (habit tracker, tabs, and recaps). I especially loved the doodle space, it is perfect for making lists, not only doodles.
2.- To me the weekly spread with the times was unnecessary, I used the “today I need to…” space to plan each day instead, I also don’t take my planner to the supermarket so I am not using the weekly groceries lists.
3.- I need more “today I need to…” space, which could probably be achieved by taking some space from the “today’s workout” tab at the bottom since it is a little big (?).
4.- I would like to suggest a monthly “progress” page (besides the monthly recaps) where I can keep a record of how I’m doing in terms of fitness, or a before and after space at the end of the planner. Also a little “bookmark” ribbon would be really useful.
In general I loved the editorial design, how you guys made the planner to be so functional, but to be 100% honest I was not a fan of the artwork, not because it wasn’t well done but because it is just not my style (I like the patterns for the yoga mats and new collections better) so I am really eager to see something new for next year! Keep up the wood work! :D
I loved everything about this years planner! The separate days must stay, they help me stay focused. The week at a glance is the only thing I don’t use, and the rubber band holding the book shut could be thicker. I love the monthly recaps though.
Absolutely love it! The only problem I had was with the schedule section. I start my day at 4am, so anything before 6 I had to squeeze in. Otherwise, perfect!
