Supershort™ Runsie - Black

Ooooh my god. I wasn't expecting to love this onesie so much! Like, how and why does it make me look so snatched?! I swear, I feel so confident in this - for some reason, it's HELLA flattering. Kind of obsessed with it. The only very minor negative things I have to say about this onesie are that, first, the (under) shorts are a little tight and very short, which causes them to ride up a lot (it's not super thick thighs smaller waist friendly), so I do have to readjust very often, but it also depends on your workout. And second, I can't really pull the shorts down lower because if I do, the fabric doesn't hug my back anymore and goes straight down. However, it's not enough for me to not absolutely love this still, and even if the shorts ride up a little bit it still looks good because of the flowy shorts on top. I would add that the thick straps can be a little bit uncomfortable if I bend forward or bring my arms forward, but it's really not that bad (it's worse with the Daphne Corset Crop Top), but it just cuts you off a little bit / feels tight, and adjusting the straps doesn't help. Which, by the way, is a great option to have! I wish the pads were sewn in, but I guess it allows for more options. Love the large pockets. This onesie offers me medium support. I honestly wanna work out in this all the time, I love it so much! Honestly, I still don't understand how it looks so good on. I liked in on the website, but in real life, it's just WOW! The top shorts do wrinkle easily, but a little steam does the trick super quickly, and since I got it in black, it's not super noticeable. And the boob vent is a great addition, it's cute and functionnal! I think someone very short (like, a child) could see your underboobs though, so keep that in mind, but otherwise the underboob isn't visible. Yep, I cannot recommend this onesie enough! Love it!

I love my pirouette skorts for running, but this runsie is definitely my new favorite running fit. I can’t wait for it to restock in Iris!! I reliably wear a size L in Popflex and this was no different. I love that it helps keep my boobs secure when I run, although if I were running a faster pace I might layer the superbra under it. It feels like a nice hug without being too tight. The shorts stay pretty secure on my thighs too which is great since my thighs are fuller and sometimes shorts don’t stay put on me.

Loved this one so much, I had to get a second one in black. I get a lot of compliments on it too. I wore it frequently throughout my vacation and it held up nicely and was super comfortable. The pockets were great and kept cash and phone secure (don't forget to take out before water activities 😵‍💫).

I finally got a black Runsie, and it is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, great quality!

I LOVE this piece and wear it as often as I can. However, there are a few drawbacks. The shorts are sadly too short on me and I’m constantly pulling them down so that they cover literally any of my thigh. As you can see in the photo, they’re not long enough to reach that “secure” point on my thigh. (However, that’s not necessarily the garment’s fault, I got thick legs. But it does make me sad also now knowing the current length of the twirl skort or dress would not work on me.) Also, the tops of the pockets are VERY high. I do appreciate this because it means the pockets are both secure and deep, but you have to scoop the flowy shorts pretty high up to get inside the pockets. (See photo.) Also, this might be me, but I feel like the shorts look a bit strange in front, a bit diaper-y.

Now let’s talk about some pros: the material is SO SOFT. I can’t get over how soft the top part is!! I love the straps too, thick and supportive (and adjustable!!), but not hard to take off to go to the bathroom (I promise it’s much easier than any bathing suit or leotard I’ve worn). I appreciate the removable cups, for once, as I often like wearing a sports bra underneath and don’t always want that extra padding. And the best part about the overshorts? No panty line, even if your panty seams are the absolute chunkiest (cries in cotton underwear). Also, and this is just personal, I got told I looked very hot in this runsie at my dance studio. Just feels good, you know?

FYI, I’m 160 lbs, 5’7”, have very muscular legs, and bought a Medium. I mostly wear this for tap/jazz classes and jogging.

Wore this once and the netting was ripped after the first wash. Can’t return it but it wanted to recommend against buying it since it is pricey for a one time wear :(
