Supersculpt™ Leggings with Pockets (Pet Hair Resistant) - Black

I normally love all my Popflex leggings, and they've all been standing the test of time, but these leggings (specifically the Plum color for now) have been letting me down. (EDIT: the same has occurred for the Slate and Pecan colors, so this issue is not exclusive to the Plum variant).

It's a lot thinner than the usual Supersculpt leggings, which isn't bad for times I want less compression. I love the pocket design and how the leggings feel, but the quality feels worse than usual.

I washed the leggings when they first came (my usual wash routine for all my leggings - cold wash, hang dry), and the seams inside somehow already started coming undone and tangling. The fabric isn't quite as dust resistant as I'd hoped for being pet-hair resistant, and it'll still take a bit of effort to brush any remnants off.

The worst part is how easily it's already pilled - I've only worn them twice, and I just noticed how it's already fuzzy on my thigh (I assume it's where it rubbed against the barbell knurling). If that's the case, these leggings truly aren't meant for working out if they can't withstand rubbing against anything.

Got these and really liked the shorter inseam length. Love the slate color it’s such a pretty neutral. However super bummed that on my third time wearing them I somehow got a snag - not sure if this will be a problem on the other pairs I got- but was very disappointed by this.

I’m 5’ 0” 105 lbs, 2 kids, thicker waist and between XS and S in other brands. I originally got this in black S 27” which fit ok, but the XS fits even better! I love plum to wear with my black Game Day dress. And even though I don’t have pets, I do love the pet hair resistant fabric because it feels nice and also resists lint in general. ***The pockets are key!*** Will be coming back for the black XS 25”!! :)

I love the fit of these leggings just as much as the soft touch ones. The fabric is not as soft and less stretchy compared to the soft touch, but still holds up well for workouts. Unfortunately, after my first wear of both the black and pecan I noticed holes. The pecan's pocket ripped when I put my credit card into it, there must've been a small piece of the card that snagged, but it was unfortunate how easily it ripped. The black one I noticed had 3 small holes as soon as I put it on and I'm afraid it will continue to tear as time goes on :( I really hope it doesn't because these leggings are so comfy and they haven't been well used yet.

Edit: The team was so incredibly helpful and quick to respond. They refunded me for the pair with 3 holes in it, so I will purchase them again if the tear gets worse! Thanks for all your help guys :)

I took so long to review these because I wanted to see how they could hold up with the animal-related rescue stuff that I participate in.

I personally currently have 16 cats, 9 dogs (x5 are available for adoption), 8 sheep, 2 goats, 40+ chickens and a homing pigeon named Hector. Oh, and the neighbors ducks horse and sheep come and visit too.

I've worn them about 10 times now at home- the anti-pet hair thing still works...like magic. I've long ago accepted that no outfit is complete without a little dog or cat hair, maybe a feather or two...

When I volunteer (mostly with Petfix Big Island) at community free spay/neuter clinics I wear these pants. The pockets are AWESOME.

The last huge community event I volunteered at, I regret wearing the pants - I somehow got a hole in the knee :{ So although they've been great, they probably were not made for such serious work. That is the only downside I've experienced, but I fully acknowledge I probably pushed them too far.

In any event, HUGE mahalos. I FINALLY just saved up and got a cloud hoodie - I'll try review that one next.

Fabric is indeed buttery soft and smooth, but not much compression as expected. LOVE that the pockets are deep.

I wish the waistband seam was a bit higher, as the band area is quite large and ends up drawing attention to my lower belly pooch! 😅 So if you’re petite like me, be wary that the waistband may draw attention to that area!

There are some small faults – frayed seams & uneven stitching on both sides, which I wouldn’t expect from something that I’m paying premium price for.
