On the Run Ruffle Short - Black

I decided to give these a try because they were cute and I aspired to find a workout short I actually liked because I’m very picky with workout bottoms. I find the v cut very flattering, as well as the ruffles. Shows off my butt without showing off my hip dips. Also shows off my abs without showing off the pooch (yes I do have one). Love the tighter shorts underneath with the pocket. There’s also a hidden pocket on the back for a credit card or chapstick or something which is cool. If I were to offer one criticism it would be I feel like the ruffles wrinkle a bit. Also I wish there were more colors! I own two colors personally and they truly are my go to workout bottom. And great for golf too!

The shorts are super cute but they run a bit too big. I ordered an XXS cuz the size chart says its 22-24 inches on the waist but it felt like its more on 24 inches without the stretch (my waist is 22 inches). I had to take in the sides so they would fit me better (hence the seams on the side of the waistband). I don't mind that I had to alter the shorts cuz they are super cute and they've become my favorite workout shorts. I just wish the sizing is a bit more accurate and and petite girl friendly :(

So I bought it in size M since i had bought pants from the company in since small and I thought it was bit too tight
Now I like these on the bottom but the waist band is way too loose!
I’m a true hourglass shape
I worry though that size small would still not be tight enough around the waist band and a XS would not fit my ass
So if you buy one of these and you have a big ass and tiny waist maybe you need to get it tailored or fitted
Now it’s not the easiest too show on photos but it’s pretty loose on the waist

While they are cute and comfy, the ruffle shorts are not 100% fitting as described. I ordered them in the olive and white and have the same issue with both colours of the shorts.

The measurements online say the waist for a size S should fit between a 26-28 inch waist. I fall around 27 inches so about in the middle of that range. I have noticed some gapping when pulled up to sit comfortably on my waist, as it seems the models have done in the photos online. Perhaps these shorts are not fully curve friendly, as I do have wider hips. They are petite friendly though, I am 5'2 and the under shorts are not too long on the legs, which I have experienced with other brands.

The ruffles also stick almost straight out at the back and wider than advertised at the hips. The ruffles look to be sitting flatter/more relaxed on the models, and it seems there may be extra fabric bunched up on the ones I ordered. Perhaps a steam may fix this issue but there are also no washing instructions other than wash on cold and don't bleach. Tumble drying/ironing instructions would be nice.

Also, as I have ordered from outside of the US, from the info on their website and other comments online it seems that the international returns policy is costly and may not be worth my time. I saw on another review that another customer had them altered so that may be my best option, though not ideal, pending a response from my query on the international returns procedure.

and they fit well. I bought a S instead of an M. The inner shorts ride up too much but I like how the shorts look and the extra pocket. I bought it in Oasis. pretty cute

These shorts are really cute and girly, but I do wish they were high waisted. Attempting to pull them up higher results in a gap between the waist and the waistband of the shorts unfortunately. I was a little confused because some of the pics show the shorts pulled up higher. All in all, I’m happy with the shorts, and will wear them.
