Corset Pirouette Dress - Ruby

I'm not sure how to rate this because I think the problems I'm having are just personal preferences. There was nothing wrong with it, it came as described, it fit decently well, and it feels amazing. But this is not the dress for me.

I love the color, the use of the ribbed fabric, and I love the shape the front creates. The skirt was cut straight. I can see the inspiration and where they were trying to go with this dress. And I understand why it is a well loved dress, it looks beautiful on so many people.

However, despite sizing down (and I cannot size down any further), it still does not cling to my back. My guess is the mesh skirt is causing this since it starts at the middle of my back. I also don't like how high the mesh skirt starts in the back, the lack of support, straps dug into my armpits a little, and how it sits on my body. It looks beautiful in the photos, but wearing it versus seeing the photos feels like a completely different experience for me. It just doesn't feel or fit as well as the twirl dress.

Overall, I just know that I will not be gravitating towards this dress, and for the price, I should want to wear it often. I am glad I gave the dress a second chance, now I know this style simply isn't for me.

I bought this in Ruby, but I think I need it in 7 more colors. This dress is so flattering! Makes me feel like a twirling active princess. The ruby color is so bright and bold!

I wore this to Disneyworld and it was so comfortable! I got so many compliments! Highly recommend! As soon as it restocks in more colors in my size I am going to by 3-4 more!

You know how every character has their fit? Shaggy wears a green shirt and khakis. Dora has a pink top & purple shorts. Well this dress is mine. The craziest part is, I didn't think I'd like it that much. I bought it early spring because I wanted the pirouette skort for summer but it was sold out until August. So I ordered the dress though I felt a bit guilty bc the price is higher than I'm used to spending, HOW DUMB OF ME. it's like when you meet the love of your life and hesitate to go on a date with them. LIKE WHAT. I didn't realize I'd love it so much. Secret time, I ordered the skirt too and I STILL wear the dress more. It's a cute fit and I don't even have to try! I walk my dog, do errands, throw a cardigan or leather jacket over it and even wear it for TTPD for the eras tour. The compliments I get? Endless. I feel like the main character in this. For my holiday wishlist? This dress, every color. Please buy this omg.

I'm so happy with the color and fit of this dress it's perfect fit is amazing like fits like a glove. I got the buttercream I'm 5"8.5 158 lbs and love this so much need to grab another color cause this is amazing love how soft it is and the shorts are perfect length. I bought one of these almost a month ago in the Dusty Mauve/Lilac in a size Small. I wasn't able to wear that for too long because it wound up being too big in the bust area for me. The cups at the top were gaping, no matter how much tighter I made the straps.

When the Buttercream version came back in stock, I decided to try sizing down to Extra Small. It fits me a lot better! My bust size has been shrinking since my hysterectomy. I've also been able to start working out more often again. My weight and measurements having been fluctuating a little bit. Here are my current approximate measurements when my stomach is empty.

Bust: Around 33.5 in
Waist: Between 27 and 27.5 in
Hips: 35.5 in
Height: 63 in
Weight: Low 130s
Bra Size: Small. 34B at the most.
Body Type: Rectangle
Typical PopFlex size: Small

I hope this will help someone out with deciding on a size to purchase.
