High Waisted Supershort™ - Black

The short fits nice. I wish the leggings were 1-2 inches longer. But overall they are awesome.

My main concern is that I’ve ordered a few “Ruby” pieces but the packaging label shows “Maroon”. The color pieces look close enough to the naked eye, so not enough of a reason to return. I love everything about Popflex, and this is probably the only flaw that I’ve encountered with the company. And I’ve order LOTS of pieces!!

Finally decided to give POPFLEX a try since I am... Not exactly the target demographic, and was initially worried about fit & comfort across binary clothing genders. At the end of the day, when I'm trying to look like a fairytale prince at the gym? I might as well try out the brand that caters to everyone trying to look like a fairytale princess at the gym, right?

It's been a few months and I'm so happy with how they've been holding up! They seriously just hit a sweet spot between styles of gym shorts I just couldn't find elsewhere.

I wanted something short to show off my legs... but I don't want it to be tight to my body all the way around. (I don't like the front package being too brazen! It's not comfortable, and it's just sort of awkward for everyone involved!) But I also didn't want everything loose and letting everyone see my underwear! But I also want a higher waist and wider waistband? And pockets?

It turns out, gender be damned, all of the problems I wanted solved were the ones these shorts were trying to solve. It feels like I'm wearing a little gladiator skirt when I'm lifting.

Not the intended fantasy, but I'm certainly feeling it.

tl;dr Boys, girls, and people of all genders who also happen to have business in the front! These feel and look great! The compression on the inner shorts is really comfortable & secure, and the outer shorts are enough coverage to feel properly dressed without getting in the way. They're still crazy short, but like. In a mindful way.

Also! They've been in and out of the wash a few times following the care instructions with no issue! The ivory is still extremely bright!

I was so tempted by the lovely colors and cute details - but I should have realized shorts this short don't work for large thighs.

First, I love the high waist design but I wish the waist line was tighter. I'm wearing size M and I'm within the chart measurements but the waist feels a bit loose and keeps sliding up.

The sliding up also makes my main problem worse: they are so short that they roll up BAD and make my thighs rub - they actually don't even cover my butt when I move as you can see in the picture. So the vibe is actually kind of nasty.

I took a measurement of how long the shorts would ideally be, and to cover up the rubbing part of my thighs the inseam should be minimum 5.2 inches - which is actually longer than even the midi shorts.

So, please, could we have cute colors and ruffle details and such in more of a biker length? I'm so sad I can't wear any of the cutest bottoms.

I was really looking forward to these shorts. And since I live in the Netherlands, it took a while to arrive and I had to pay a lot of money for custom duty to receive this package. Also, there is no way to return the clothes if the size didn't fit.

So you can imagine my dissapointment when I tried the shorts and the waist was way too large. I rechecked my measurements to make sure I didn't order the wrong size. But it was correct size.

Since returning the shorts was not an option, I had to try a hack so I could still use them. I cut open small holes in the inside of the waist band and added a draw string.

I wish it had already come with a drawstring though. Since waist sizes can vary with time, having drawstrings would have made these shorts amazing!

Love the fabric. I'm in between sizes at the moment where XL is just a tad too small and 1X is a tad too big. Biggest complain is the shorts riding up #thickthighs all in all, fav pair of shorts. Just wish they were slightly longer.

I purchased the white color in size small. Love the high waisted fit. It also makes your summer tan pop. I really want the pink color once there’s a restock :)
