Boardwalk Bombshell One Piece - Black Rib

Let me start by saying I love Cassey and have been a POP Pilates fan going on 15 years! I love her videos and what she stands for, and for that reason, I decided to purchase this suit this season. It was a little bit expensive for me and I purchased it saying “If it’s not perfect, you can send it back.” Additionally, I just had my 3rd kid, and I was nervous about it fitting correctly; however, I had faith in Cassey.

This suit has been great! I love the back criss-crossing straps, the snatched waist, and material feels like a quality product. Also the design on the inside is cute! I wish the booty had a little more elastic so that it doesn’t slide, but I’m also chasing children around, so my expectations might be higher than most. The boob coverage is fine for me since I’m not that big, and the cut actually worked great for me to be able to breastfeed on the beach this summer!

I was a little disappointed that my gold POPFLEX logo came loose and fell off, but obviously that is a minor complaint.

This swimsuit is SOOOOO gorgeous - I love the way it makes my body look. I so wish I could have kept it. But as a 36-38E/F cup (depends on the bra) — this XL F-G swimsuit felt like a D cup. My boobs were OUT. Spilling over the top to the degree where I was shocked lol. If I were to swim seriously rather than just lay there carefully posed, it would probably be 1-2 minutes before my entire boob (or two) fell out. The straps are also NOT ADJUSTABLE so you can't really adjust the coverage. I even tried tucking my boobs under the cup part and my boobs were still OUT. If you are above a DD or maaaaybe DDD I would for sure steer clear. Super super sad though because I have loved other stuff from this brand (I have the piroutte skirt and it's fab) but the boob sizing is not accurate for me! (For reference, I usually wear a Curvy Couture bra in 36DDD in the sheer mesh version and other bras in a 36-38DDD, so my size is usually pretty regular. More bell shaped boobs — so it's possible that factored in as well). If you are a mid-sized boob girlie this swimsuit is awesome, but big boob folks might have to gamble a bit. If they do one with bigger cups and also *adjustable straps* I will absolutely be in line. (p.s. it looks ok in the photos but they are omega tucked in there lol but it was the only pic I had before I returned it rip)

Edit: I had to lower my review because this suit was basically unwearable for me. Trying to swim with it on gave me multiple nip slips and was just impossible to feel comfortable in. The straps are so far off to the sides and unadjustable that it makes it even easier to accidentally flash your whole chest. I was really disappointed and ended up having to buy two new bathing suits while on vacation including one swim dress which honestly seems like something popflex should've come up with given the success of their workout dresses. I love this company but this was just a major no for me and given that I've worn both suits already in an effort to test them out I know I can't return any of them. Also I wish the whole "Bridgerton boobs" thing was advertised as such before the launch cause I would have known immediately that this would never fit me. I'm disappointed but I hope y'all can take this critique moving forward and keep innovating.

Alright I'm pretty skeptical when going into buying bathing suits. I'm a size 16 and a 36G so I would say most things I buy I aim to accommodate one of those. This bathing suit is pretty good at both I would say! The body fits great and gives that slight compression to make me feel confident . The fact that popflex has begun it's foray into accommodating for cup size is amazing and made me super excited for this swim launch especially as someone who is not comfortable in bikinis.

That being said I will not be doing a Baywatch slomo run in this one piece anytime soon for fear of a nip slip. I wish the shoulders were adjustable so I could at least try and bandage the girls down 😅 they are 100% out there and they look great! The support tho is just not there. I think it's a wonderful first try for popflex and I look forward to future iterations but the boobs are just not as secure as I hoped they'd be. All that being said I will absolutely be wearing this to the beach with a coverup

I usually like a cheekier fit but honestly, this full coverage one piece has me in a chokehold. It covers all the right places WITHOUT looking frumpy or drab. AND the girlies…they sit all the way right. It’s also very comfortable while still being sexy. I can’t wait to be on the beach wearing my cute suit. #tryoncrew wearing 2x

I definitely like the cheekier version better but this one is just as comfortable and supportive. The shape, straps, corset-style back, etc. accentuate my body without feeling too restrictive or uncomfortable. The main reason I prefer the cheekier version is because I don’t love how this cut sits on my booty, but that’s all personal preference. #tryoncrew

This is the perfect full coverage one piece!! The back fully covers my large bum, and the front gusset is spacious enough to fully cover my bikini line! The corset back detailing adds a perfect touch of fun to the more modest silhouette, and the molded cups are supportive and super comfy for my DDs.
