Cleo Corset Crop Bralette - Sapphire

Hi there, 40 something, 6'2 and 3/4" and 255 lbs, female, checking in. I bought the Cleo Corset Crop Bralette - Black in size XL and the Crisscross Hourglass® Flared Leggings with Pockets - Black in size 1XL. Upon arrival, my body dysmorphia told me "that is NOT going to fit you." and I left my purchase sit on a chair for a day. During that day I revisited Popflex's size chart and confirmed, again, that yes, that is my size according to my inches. Yes, my inches are on the top end of that size but still I am that size.

I stuffed my body dysmorphia down and "stuffed" (I don't feel stuffed, not even a little bit) myself into the fit. No screams of stretched fabric happened. No popped stitches. The outfit seems to fit just fine. No camel toe could be found. But I needed reassurance and eyes on my back side. So, off to find my partner. I "forced" my husband to check out my butt during a squat and asked if he could see skin. He said "nope, looking good."

I wore the outfit around the house, that evening, for a few hours, as loungewear to see how it felt being worn that way. Very comfortable. No tugging, tiny bit of folding w the bra when sitting but the tummy rolls be strong when I sit. So, still not complaining. Okay, okay, Popflex, I see you.

I am fluffy but working on my fit, especially throughout this last year. One of my biggest complaints, problems, emotional meltdowns during my workouts is my leggings slipping down, constantly. I have bought from the cheaper box stores. And I have bought from more expensive brands that focus on athletic wear. It's all the same, every other jump or twist I am having to pull the entire waist up from my hips. I even started to wear a waist trainer as a belt to keep my work out pants up.

This morning I wore my Popflex outfit during my 40 min workout and put it to the tug and pull test. During the course of my workout, I found myself re-adjusting the bottom of the bra a couple times, maybe 5 times max but there was no tugging it down. As far as the leggings, same thing, re-adjusting the top a little but didn't find myself needing to YANK them back up. I also found I was able to raise the intensity of my workout bc I wasn't worrying about pulling my clothes back where they belong.

I want to add that the 37" cover my ankles nicely. However, I would not be mad at a 39" inseam launch, in the future. I would even happily pay a bit extra for the extra inches. I say that bc I am notorious for shrinking everything after a few washes.

I am still questioning if I should go a size up? I am wondering if the little bit of tugging would be eliminated completely if there was just a bit more fabric? But will going a size bigger be too big and in return eliminate the "snatched" look and feeling I am currently having in this size?

The fit of the Cleo Corset crop is so great! I have it in 3 colors but this Buttercup yellow ist my favorite! I like it in combination with the Digital Lavender Skort.

I felt so confident wearing this to the gym recently! It looks cute and is snug. That said, don't wear it all day, it'll feel tight after a while. But great for the gym!

I got this for a race, and it is so soft and so comfortable. It supports well, too!
