Zip Cloud Hoodie - Sand

This is my second time purchasing and I still have no regrets! I’m 5’6” and about 155# with a 38DDD bust, 32” waist + 39” hip and the S/M fits perfectly. I love the oversized look when unzipped and the closer fit of the crop waist when zipped. The fabric is super comfortable and thick enough for many different environments. The color is a bit lighter than I thought/the pictures but I love it more a little muted.

I want to start this review by saying these hoodies are SO freaking cute. I think the design is perfectly executed in the areas Cassey wanted to accentuate and they’re just UGH so great.
I’m mainly gonna focus on helping people with sizing, since that was a huge dilemma for me when purchasing. I’m 5’0 and ~162 lbs with a 32” waist, 37.5” bust, and 17” shoulders. I typically wear a medium in all of the clothes that I buy and they fit a little snug but larges are always too big so I’d say my size for regular clothing is between M/L. That being said, I decided that the S/M was the way to go for me for this hoodie because it’s oversized and I didn’t want too frumpy of a fit. However, after looking at other reviews, I kept seeing people recommend sizing down. That meant an XXS/XS, which I was EXTREMELY hesitant about but decided I’d give it a go. I ordered the S/M and the XXS/XS so I could compare and I’m so glad I did!
I think they both look great, but I’d say the sizing definitely depends on the kind of fit you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a boyfriend-esque oversized look, then I’d say size down! If you’re looking for a comfy, extra-oversized look, then I’d say get your normal size. I think they’re both super cute, it just depends on what you’re wanting out of your purchase. For me, I was looking for the more boyfriend-esque look, so I’ll be keeping the XXS/XS (remember, this is coming from a M/L girlie)!
In terms of comfort, they both felt about the same except for one part — the waistband. There’s definitely a HUGE difference in the waistband from size to size. I’ve included a pic of both of the jackets (tried my best to line them up with the tape measure but it’s definitely not perfect lol) so you can see how big of a difference there is in the length of the waistband between the two sizes I bought. The XXS/XS measures in at about 27” and the S/M at about 35”. That’s an 8” difference between these two sizes so keep that in mind! Bc I have a 32” waist, the S/M wasn’t really hugging me right and just felt a little too loose for what I was looking for, and I think that took away from the “hourglass” effect that this hoodie tries to achieve. The waistbands are suuuuper stretchy tho, so although the XXS/XS was a little snug, it was still pretty comfy! And it definitely gave me that hourglass look a lot better because I have such a short torso.
Overall, I love the fit of both of these jackets! If I had the funds, I would keep both of them, but I ordered both with the caveat that I would be returning whichever one I liked less since they’re pretty pricey (but definitely worth it). At the end of the day, the sizing all comes down to the kind of fit you’re looking for out of your purchase. Want something slightly oversized? Size down. Want something truly oversized? Order your normal size. I hope this review helps some of yall! <3

I was so excited for my hoodie! It is very comfortable like a cloud but on the second day of wearing the zipper hardware lost some paint. I feel sad that I spent so much only for it lose paint in 1 day. It is still a very comfortable sweater but the vibes aren’t the same. :(

Ordered this in blush but the colour is a lot closer to a cool mauve/purpley pink rather than a warm tone pink. So if you’re looking for a pink hoodie, just keep that in mind! Other than that, I love it so much and I hope they come out with a warmer tone pink eventually. The hoodie itself is so cosy and the design is so beautiful and unique. I got heaps of compliments and people asking me if it’s worth ordering all the way from NZ, and I definitely say yes!

It's a comfy hoodie, but I've bought two of these and one of the nonzip ones...all three have the same defect, one sleeve, the right sleeve, is longer than the left sleeve. It's comfy to wear and very soft. It lasts well too, but it's also got a consistent defect across three separate purchases throughout the year.

This hoodie is really cute, oversized, a little cropped. and cinching at the waist. I had great first impressions, but started to experience problems as I wore it longer over time.

1. Because the hood is so large and heavy, it pulls the whole hoodie back towards the back. When the hoodie is not zipped, this causes it to constantly fall off of my shoulders. When the hoodie is zipped (fully or partially), the hoodie gets pulled back and where the zipped parts ends ends up choking my neck.

2. After I washed the hoodie for the first time (normal wash & dry cycles), the plastic piece of the hood strap came off on one side.... I've had this quality issue with another Popflex item as well (skort with waist strap), so this problem should probably be addressed as a whole.

I really do like the look and feel of the hoodie otherwise, so I'm hoping these issues can be addressed for a future release...
