Pirouette Skort - Mystic Purple

I got this for a race, and it is awesome. The shorts don’t ride up, it’s actually high waisted, and it is beautiful and fits perfectly.

I am officially a Popflex convert. The skort is so elegant and dainty looking, yet at the same time in terms of functionality is surprisingly robust and comfortable. My one tiny criticism is that, aesthetically, I would have preferred it if the inner shorts were shorter than the outer skirt so it does not peak underneath the skirt; but this hardly detracts from how fantastic the skort still is.

Far exceeded my expectations! The skirt never needs to be adjusted, stays put all day. So comfortable. Adorable. Pockets are so handy, I don't need to carry a bag around. Can't say enough good things about this!

Listen… I’ve been going out swing dancing twice a week for almost 7 years now, excluding covid, it’s my favorite thing. But for the first five years I wore a skirt/dress, maybe twice because even though it’s drastically more fun to twirl around in a dress it’s not feasible with all the stuff I need to carry. So I bought one of these skorts a while back in hopes that it would solve that for me and I have been addicted ever since I put it on for the first time and I knew I was never going to wear pants out dancing ever again. But what I didn’t know, is that I was never going to wear pants ever again.

These skorts have completely transformed my wardrobe/sense of style to what it should have been all along. They have made me realize that the only reason I stopped wearing skirts and dresses as I got older was the lack of convenience aka, pockets. I have been slowly buying every single color and I have worn one every single day for months now. I wear them on their own, I wear them layered under other skirts/dresses that I haven’t worn in years, I’ve stopped telling myself “Don’t buy that dress/skirt you really want your never gonna wear it” because I AM gonna wear it. I’ve started wearing bows in my hair again, and jewelry because I actually enjoy dressing cute again.

Words cannot describe how happy these make me. I searched far and wide across the internet for a good skort to go out dancing in and I couldn’t find a single one I liked better than these. As long as you take good care of them (follow the washing instructions) they are totally worth it and hold up really well. And I know because mine are getting worn/washed constantly seeing as they are the only thing I wear anymore. My only complaint is that they don’t come in more colors, particularly orange so I can have a complete rainbow of skorts hanging in my closet.

This skort is perfect for exercising and to wear casually. It's comfortable and so beautiful. I'd have one in every colour if I could afford!
